Review- The Little Bookshop of Love Stories by Jaimie Admans

About

Today is the Mondayest Monday ever. Hallie Winstone has been fired – and it wasn’t even her fault!

Having lost her job and humiliated herself in front of a whole restaurant full of diners, this is absolutely, one hundred percent, the worst day of her life.

That is until she receives an email announcing that she is the lucky winner of the Once Upon a Page Bookshop!

Owning a bookshop has always been Hallie’s dream, and when she starts to find secret love letters on the first pages of every book, she knows she's stumbled across something special.

Things get even better when she meets gorgeous, bookish Dimitri and between them, they post a few of the hidden messages online, reuniting people who thought they were lost forever.

But maybe it’s time for Hallie to find her own happy-ever-after, too?

My Review

This was a fab read from Jaimie Admans, which I absolutely loved and couldn't put down.

The story focuses on Hallie who hasn't had the best of luck and also is one of clumsiest book characters I have read but in a good way. However, Hallie's luck changes when she win's a bookshop (every girl's dream!!). Hallie is determined to make the shop a success and with the help of Dimitri they also start to piece together messages found hidden in the books within the shop.

I loved the concept of this book, finding the hidden messages in books and trying to put them together. This was a very fun and enjoyable read with lots of humour and funny moments throughout. It was definitely the perfect light hearted read needed at the minute. Once I picked this up, I wanted to keep reading and I was also routing for Hallie and Dimitri to who were perfect together. I don't think you ask for more from a book about a bookshop and hidden messages in books, it was a perfect read on a sunny day in the garden. This was most definitely a magical read. I would also love some from Hallie and her little bookshop !!

Thank you to Netgalley for the opportunity to read this fabulous book.
